Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Oslo.
Psychoanalyst for children, adolescents and adults.
1993-1997. - Editor of the Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Review.
2002-2006. - President of the Norwegian Psychoanalytic Society.
Teacher, program director of the PIEE School of Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis (Han Groen-Prakken Psychoanalytic Institute for Eastern Europe), psychotherapy training programs in Beijing and Wuhan. He was a member of the Sponsoring and then Liaison Committees for the Study Group of the Moscow Psychoanalytic Society.
Author of many articles on psychoanalysis. A. Zachrisson's selected articles on psychoanalysis will be published this year under the title Psychoanalysis my way. Complex Oedipus and other issues.

Workshop content: the inner work of the analytic therapist, supervision of personal work and self-analysis. Consideration of concepts that contribute to this work. The therapeutic attitude, analytic stance, setting, countertransference and the concept of neutrality. The relation of psychoanalytic method and ethics.
The subjectivity of the therapist is inevitable: it can be a valuable, helping tool, but it can also hinder treatment. The goal of inner work is to reduce the destructive effect of subjectivity and to use it for a diverse and deep understanding of the process.
