David Bell is a training analyst, supervisor and ex-president of the British Psychoanalytic Society; psychiatrist, leading specialist at the Tavistock Clinic (London). Working in the tradition of Freud, Klein, and Bion, D. Bell has made a significant contribution to the development of psychoanalytic theory and practice. He has numerous publications in the field of clinical psychoanalysis. His original ideas on the application of the psychoanalytic approach to the study of art, literature, philosophy, and politics are of considerable interest to psychoanalysts and interested professionals in related professions.
On February 19, 2022, David Bell continues his series of online seminars on current issues in psychoanalysis, which will consist of two parts: theoretical (2 hours) and clinical (1.5 hours) with translation into Russian.
David Bell has collaborated for a number of years with the famous British psychoanalyst Hannah Segal, a student of Melanie Klein. The lecture will focus on the central ideas of Hannah Segal. You will receive translations of her articles to prepare for the seminar.
